Educating at home in Minnesota may be simpler than you imagine!

In short:
-
Submit an Intent to Homeschool form to your resident public school district
-
Keep records
-
Include the required subjects
-
Complete a standardized test annually
-
If you enroll your student in an online public school from home, you don't have to submit the Intent form, and you can opt out of standardized tests if you choose. Follow your online school's procedures.
